Meeting my Higher Self

A couple of days ago I had an experience. I sat in my bed, ready to meditate. When I closed my eyes, I saw an image. I saw myself sitting, and helping some people with daily things. It was like dreaming. I was wearing a long white robe, and looked exactly the same as I look now, but much more ‘perfect’. This person was ‘the perfect me’. I had a feeling this was my higher Self, or Christ Self. Suddenly ‘this person’ looked at me and disappeared? Then I saw another image where He stand on a bridge looking over a large pond. Again He looked at me, and disappeared. I was a little confused, and didn’t understand the lesson? Finally I got a clear view of my perfect Self and it’s disappearing all the time. What I learned, for example in ‘The Life and Teaching of the Masters of the Far East’ is, that when your Higher Self reveals Himself to you, you have to point all your attention to it. I just let go and go to bed. I didn’t even meditate.

The next couple of days I started to understand the lesson which my Higher Self tried to explain to me. When you wants to find your true Self, your Devine God Self, you don’t have to look to the limited. You don’t have to point your attention to a perfect body, but to the unseen inner life, which creates a perfect body. The Life which we don’t know yet, however we see the results all around us. He was teaching me to look beyond the life and forms, and see that there is everything Perfect, not in the limited materialistic thinking. And yes, when you try to look to the unseen, wherever you are, you are able to recognize this Life. When I’m obtaining this, I feel my hart chakra opening itself on the front, but also on my back. A joy comes over me. Really, like Jacob (in the Bible) I said: “Surely the LORD is in this place, and I was not aware of it.” You would be surprised how close you can come to God, just by looking to the unseen, here and now.
